Support for Alexander Ryking
He is the reason I started posting my political rantings and ravings on Tumblr. I’d only been posting on Tumblr for maybe a week and I was like “how did my post get that blue Politics tag?” Once I figured it out, I truly felt the egalitarian nature of the whole community — Ryking didn’t know me, never communicated with me, but the stamp of approval he doles out as a politics editor put my post in front of hundreds more people than the three who probably would have randomly read it, and it encouraged me continue posting. I think he’s an excellent editor and this bullshit I see going back and forth about rape and women and cunts is like a high school Facebook fight. Now a petition?!? With signature count updates? Just don’t follow him and grow up. And by the way, I am a liberal woman, and never had any issues that some of you are complaining about, so maybe consider it takes two to have a public pissing contest.
